Humiliation. If there was one word to describe Wednesday’s game against Sacramento, this would be it. Sacramento made RGVFC’s defense look like a Sunday League team. The ease at which the front three attackers for Sacramento created and finished opportunities in front of Angoitia’s goal was troubling to say the least.

RGVFC Defeats Sounders 2 Despite Shortened Roster

The Toros are momentarily in 5th place in the Western Conference pending results from Swope Park vs Tulsa.

RGVFC returned to H-E-B Park looking to earn three points against Seattle Sounders 2, but they had to do it without three key players as Charlie Ward, Jose Escalante, and Kai Greene were preparing with the Houston Dynamo for Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup action.

Toros Drop 3 Points at Reno

RGVFC fall 3-2 at Reno 1868. Earned only one point in this 2 game road trip.

It was a thrilling game tonight in Reno, but the score went in favor of Reno 1868 at Greater Nevada Field. The Toros came to this game having only conceded 5 goals and had never been scored on more than once in a single game, but inĀ an uncharacteristic display of soccer, RGVFC conceded 3 goals to the USL’s newest hybrid franchise.
